NEC Work & play !

I have been to the NEC twice this weekend. Once with http://www.fiskarettes.co.uk/ and the other time with friends.

I taught a class at a workshop with Fiskarettes on the Saturday . It was great to meet Fiskarettes and I think a fun time was had by all ! The Fiskarettes all made a card, Used Fiskars tools including the Shapecutter, Border punch & Squeeze punches.

We had a little chat about likes and dislikes of the Blog & the best thing was we could all sit & rest for a while whilst getting away from the busy stalls for a quick break.

Fiskarettes Competition

They are running a Scrapbooking competition over at FISKARETTES and you can win a ............. 1 year craft magazine subscription !!!

Altered plaque

I have made a little plaque for the home , the alphas don't show up that great on the photo. I love these papers and thought I'ld make something I could show them off on seeing L/O's just go in an album. The colours aren't bright on my screen my wall is supposed to be yellow !

Wire winder

I have been playing around with the Fiskars wire winder today and in just a few minutes I have created 2 pieces of Jewellery !

I have a busy week this week what with my Fiskars work, various routine check ups at doctors with kids and a CJ to complete, plus a class to prepair for my local crop, so I'm hoping the weekend will get here sooner than later !

Conker Bonkers !!!

Heres a L/O about some of the activities on the weekend , My Eldest daughter came down again from Kidderminster and we went Geocaching . Whilst my husband checked out the Geocaching co-ordinates , Two of my 3 daughters and myself waited under a conker tree. They had great fun trying to throw sticks up and hit the conkers , we collected about 10 .
Here i used my old october afternoon papers i got from a kit in June from USA and my Cricut to cut the title, My friskars border punch & hand cut leaves around the matted photo and my hand cut Conkers. Might put a little owl on my L/O too at a later date !
