I have just been to my daughters 1st ballet parents eve ! I was so proud . Though she did want to have her socks pulled up to her knees for some reason !!! lol :D

Todays challenge over at Fiskarettes is ....

A weekend away

I have just been on a wonderful weekend away with 5 scrapbooking mates to Broadway (Nr Evesham) It was really fab from start to finish , apart from the ghostie wobble experience in my pillow case !!!!

We ate far too much , Didn't scrap an awful lot (well I never ,whoops) Laughed tons & just had a fabby time.

Sea glass in the melt pot

Today I've been playing with a friends melt pot. We dipped in chipboard that bubbled like chip fat ! poured the Utee out and stamped it with stamps, cut some with mini cutters and even chopped up softened cds and added them into the Utee. My favourite piece was this sea glass, it was a piece picked up from the beach and we heated the glass up layed it onto patterned foil then added embossing powders and more Utee to add a great glaze. The photo doesn't do it justice but it gives you some idea x

As some of you ight already know ...I help run the blog Fiskarettes for Fiskars. This is a blog that is really for Fiskarettes (could be you) to Show off their craft work to other Fiskarettes. It's a great way to show other like mindinded people your fave projects and an ideal way to make new friends or even get new visitiors onto your blogs.
We have competitions (one coming very soon & its a fun comp this time) challenges, Blog candy and it it a place to go and suggest what you would like to see on a blog. We are in talks about having a DT. And have taken on board other ideas.
We have get togethers at least 2 times a year at NEC, this month is the 2nd one and you will be able to meet up, have a sit down & a chat. Play with the NEW 2009 Fiskars releases and just meet fellow Fiskarettes. There's even going to be a surprise for each Fiskarette & of course a free cuppa & a biscuit xx

So if you haven't already go and sign up xxx It is Free to sign up and you don't have to do a thing but it would be nice if you commented every now and then & even better posted a creation. :D

IF YOU ARE A FISKARETTE ......

and you fancy going to Hobbycrafts shows this month ....Go and visit the Fiskars stand at NEC or SECC & you will get a surprise !!! I will be at NEC Saturday 14th March in the afternoon to greet Fiskarettes at a Fiskartea, sit down , have a cuppa and try out the NEW 2009 tools Fiskars have just launched in the UK.

If you are going to either of the shows it will be well worth you signing up to become a Fiskarette. But do so anyway as we hold competitions, Challenges and just generally show off our work on the blog. The blog is helped along by myself and Caroline but it is a blog for FISKARETTES to post their own work and generally tell us what you would like or not like.

OMG !!!!

I just signed into my Blog today and saw all your lovely comments. I'm not just proud to be a granny . I'm proud to see that the majority of the scrapping / crafting world are really friendly . I thank you all , it's made my day :D xxx :D

My eldest daughter Coellene has just had a baby girl called Alexis Rose 6lb 9oz . all is well even though my daughter had a difficult long birth.
