OK it was supposed to be take pics Tomorrow but i was 5 days late reading up on this, I did see the hands everywhere but never read the info ... Might try and do this , well its only one day a month . May 25th is my brothers birthday too !

One & only UKS Cybercrop class

Heres a L/O i did for the cybercrop. But we had the teacher My friend CLEO actually there doing it with us !!!! It was done at MODSCRAPS crop . Ive jiggled the bits around about 100 times and actually stuck it down like this so i cant move it as it isnt Repo Herma !!!! I had a disaster with my ink too as i dropped my new juicy bright red ink onto the top of my L/O and had to cover up the mark on the big doors hense the really heavy inked look !!!!

Thanxs Cleo for a fab class & for all of you that havent done the class go onto UKS and download it for a later date x Oh i had to mention Cleos version as it made me laugh so much ...she had bad hair !!!!

SASSAFRAS LASS GALORE

I've been on a bit of a roll at the moment & The L/Os are coming thick & fast , Some are DT projects so cant be published yet some are for me like the one below.

I love the new Sassafras Lass ranges (you might of guessed by my Banner) They are very out doorsey with out being out doorsey if you know what i mean !!! And others are pink & girlie which is me too seeing i have three girls.

DD's First birthday L/O

Finally i've been able to put on pic of My DD's first birthday L/O seeing i did the 2nd birthday first its been a bit higgledy piggledy , i'm planning to do a birthday L/O every year and put it away until shes 18 (shes only 3 so got a long time before it is given to her !!!) Even if i'm not into scrapbooking (shock horror at the thought !!! ) i'm sure i can manage one L/O a year.

I havent been scrapbooking very much lately apart from my DT stuff that i cant publish on here until it comes out on my DT sites !!!!
Seeing i havent Blogged for a while i thought i would tell you about my fabby day yesterday !!!
Myself and my sister in law and my youngest Daughter went out Geocaching yesterday . We got in the car and travelled to Portishead in Bristol . We parked at the Windmill inn Pub and had lunch ( not most delicious meal ive had but filled a gap) Then we walked down the so called Coastal path , New GPS in hand it took us to 3 caches spot on.
We saw lighthouses , A kestral , loads of robins, a SNAKE (well actually a slow worm or grass snake or whatever but SIL nearly stood on it and made me laugh my socks off listening to the screams i thought there was an Adder by her screams !!!) a crab or rather a massive woodlouse type thing ...ok im not a great person when it comes to naming wildlife !!!
But most amazing was the views and the weather, We had all wrapped up thinking it would be chilly by the river side but it was a scorcher !!! i had just a vest top on most of the walk !!!! The sun hit the water and it looked fab and the views all the way over to wales were clear as day.
No photos im sorry as my elder daughter had the camera last and she wouldnt think of letting me know the batteries were flat !!! :(
we are definately going down that path again xxx

ive made a card !!!!!

I am not known for making cards nor do i like doing them very much but over at PCJ i entered a stamp swap seeing it was their first one . You had to send off 3 stamped images and you would get 3 different ones back , Then you had to make a card or something using the three stamps on their own or together, there was also a little bonus o,if you used the hearts supplied the best item would win a little Rak ! Heres my card ....stamp was from member deezcatz so thanks to her too x

oh and look out for more stamps swaps later .

its my middle DD Azaria in her junior school uniform , i got her to write half a page story for me and you ought to see her face when i ripped it to go on the L/O !!!

A day of Geocaching with the family.

Today we cooked crumpets for breakfast and then set off to geocache for the day. I was armed with my friends Garmin etrex GPS & DH had his satnav . We went to the area of wickwar just outside bristol so not a huge daytrip but we were out all day . I had already put in the cache co-ordinates into the GPS ,a thing DH couldnt do with his. We were all dressed up , raincoats and wellies and off we went, oh and a packed lunch.

We found a few caches and i took a pic of my youngest daughter in the stream ... what a beautiful surrounding ,look at the little bridge too. just noticed my daughter needs a hair cut !!!

weve decided to buy a etrex H & really happy with the price too.

Keiras 2nd birthday

Ok this might be nearly a year later as Keiras birthday is in June but i managed to scrap her blowing candles out on her 2nd Birthday cake. She is good at candle blowing and doesnt spray spit all over the cake & did i mention she can whistle !!!!

This L/O was actually done at the 24 hr crop . I used a grunge board heart that Hils Demonstrated embossing and inking grungeboard , i just inked it on the raised embossed bits and edges and added glossy accents to lift the pattern a little more , though this doesnt show on a scanned pic !

24 HR CROP RAISING MONEY FOR CHARITY.

On Last Sat 5th April i went to a charity 24 hr Crop to raise money for Cancer Research. We raised just over £600 on the day for entry fees , raffles , quizzes & classes etc . Thats not including sponser money and a proper money count !!!

There was tons of food and goodies to eat , there was a make and take by Giselle , a class for a mini book by debbie and a great demonstration on grunge board by Hils . I dont think i'm talking for just myself but everyone was excited and the whole hall was buzzing,we all had a great time and it was a lovely location.

I Only stayed for 11 hrs due to having to get home for the kids but some did manage the whole night !!!! One of the ladies fell asleep at the table whilst talking !!! , I just wanted to add it was a great day and really went well.

think theres going to be another one next year too !!!!

UKS CYBERCROP

ive joined the UKS cybercrop and thought i would join inone of the pre crop challenges . This is my attempt of a Oscar !!!!

Ok its not a piece of art but hey its supposed to be fun . It took me two mins and it shows but it does stand up and does match my craft room lol !!!

it does have two eyes just one is yellow and one pink its got some queen & co felt ribbon and a big flower hat. Its silver to represent i never come first in anything !!!! Winning whats that lol !!!!!

her royal SWEETNESS ruler of our little kingdom.

I started this at my lovely local modscraps crop . I bought nearly everything at the shop too apart from sugared cardstock but actually think that was bought at Modscraps shop as well some time ago !!!

I cut the sweets & the title out of my cricut and the sugared cardstock.The bling was given to me at the crop.

I had a fabby day and always have fun especially when i sit by Cleo she gets my sence of (or lack of) humour which is rare,She has a talent especially for texture & touchy feely L/Os.

I Also talked to a few other lovely ladies too a little more than usual Liz who is lovely & a friend of my friend Lynne (beadmad) , Hils who has the best DH in the world me thinks and the kind lady i must thank for my bling on the crown on this L/O it all seemed to come together with a bit of bling !!!! and though i didnt talk to Giselle apart from a hello i kept walking past her work admiring it... she has an eye for colours & the not cluttered look that mine seem to be , i dont seem to get the less is more on my L/Os but her work is stunning.x
