GEOCACHING !!!!

As you may or may not know i'm really wanting to go Geocaching. To people who don't know this its treasure hunting with satnavs !!!!! You have to take the "treasure" but leave something for the next person & more importantly log in book provided !!!!! some of the boxes have clues in to go to the next box , some are single boxes.
I think it will be a great opertunity for photos and get us out a bit more as a family !!!!

I finished My L/O

I had taken this L/O to the Crop last Saturday and finally finished it at home, but not too sure about it still !!!! It seems a bit green !!!! lol

The swirls are grungeboard , inked with two colours and then glossy accents over the top !

TEACHING A CLASS

Hiya everyone just got back from teaching my first ever class at MODSCRAPS CROP . You would never beleave how nervous i was !!! I think it all went ok and i quite enjoyed myself towards the end . It was great to see everyones work coming together and everyone was really supportive seeing it was my first class. I would love to teach a class again sometime but i think next month i'll leacve it to the experts lol !!!!!

Hope everyone enjoyed theirselves you were all fabby and especially my teachers pet LOL !!!

Had a great day as per usual & sat by my two fave scrapping buddies Cleo & Debbie they are funny, We are so lucky to have a crop with so many nice people , i love my (our) downend modscraps crop . THANKS ELLIE . xxx

Funny reflection !!!!

Just wanted to show a pic of my DD at the local park . Its been really bright & sunny and weve still had the park to ourselves !!!! I feel more at ease with the camera when no one is about !!!! Silly i know . i just think its a weird pic a reflection in the back of the slide !

Heres my L/o about Pancake day !!!!

Its the first time my girls flipped their own pancakes . Dont worry i put my youngest daughters pancake in a cold pan !!!! she nearly dropped it and i had to catch it quickly !

ANOTHER BIA . CRICUT MINI BOOK xxx

Made this mni book out of cardstock & ribbon , BIA wires & pens , ink and thats it !!!!

Used doodle charms cricut cartridge & small BIA wire 3 loops.

Loving my BIA at the moment got it off the website CRAFT SUPERSTORE (a UKS sponser) , Got a real bargain as they were on promotion and it arrived in two days with free P&P , They were very helpful as i havent shopped there before was a little worried but the nice owner even pm'ed me when she saw me on a forum so that was a nice touch.

MY CRICUT & BIA BOOK

this is a book ive made using my Cricut and Bind it all machine !!!! OK its not perfect as it was my first attempt on my BIA and the holes were a bit slanted , The wires are too big and the pages were cut the same as the covers on the cricut but i think its ok for first attempt !!!! i actually cut thin chipboard on the cricut and just trimmed the line with a pair of scissors ,this prob played havoc with my blade but hey i'm experimenting !!!

Havent really decorated it just added two buttons !!!

I'm not that sure about the ones i recieved but it was fun to do something different !

IVE BEEN EMBOSSING MY GRUNGE BOARD !!!!

Have you tried grungeboard yet ???? I am really loving it at the moment , now i opened my new pack !!!!
i think it stinks (my strange friend CLEO likes the smell) But apart from the smell (suede) it is fabby stuff. It looks a bit like undressed chipboard in the packet but OH NO ITS NOT !!!! It is so different, Ive been running it through my die cutting machine in an embossing folder. Its really good and you can pick up the embossed shapes with some ink to make it stand out even more !!!!
Ive heard you can spray it lightly with a little water to emboss tho havent tried that yet. Its really flexable and would be great stuck on uneven or round projects like altered art ,tins etc...

I WENT OUT LAST NIGHT !!!! shocking

I actually went out last night! , a thing we dont do that often since Keira was born due to a lack of babysitters and our parents having a better social life than us !!!!!
We went to CHIQUITOS (might be spelt wrong) my fave restaurant at the mo,its mexican .
We then went off to the cinema. We (oh thats my hubby & I ) watched I AM LEGEND, The write ups in the newspapers werent that great so we were a bit wary. BUT I LOVED THE FILM !!!!! it was scary in places and also brought a tear to my eye lol !!!! it was a 15 film which made me think i was just a bit of a woose being scared. I jumped out my seat a few times and wish i took a pillow to hide behind !!!! Wont tell you what happened ....sad.

Ive just completed this L/O . Cut the title using my Cricut. (teardrop Font) then inked the letters slightly.

Used grungeboard crowns & Decorated with would you beleave it ..... Peel Offs !!!! They look like jewel Brads (peeloffs bought at Carolinez craftz shop )

Got this little cute chipboard book off Carolinez Craftz Kitz Of course it is ideal for my little Nephews 1st pics. Had fun using this book & caroline has lots of other lovely shapes from teapots !!!! To just plain squares !!!! Go have a look xxx
